Information for Sunday 5 July, 2015
All participants will also be
emailed the Event Day Information Booklet to peruse before event day. In the mean time, below is some "at a
glance" information to help your event day run smoothly.
times begin from 8am event day. New waves will commence every 15 minutes
thereafter until 1:30pm. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your wave time
to allow time for race bib collection, baggage check in etc. However, you do not need to be at the marshalling area until 15 minutes prior to your wave starting.
Where do I go on arrival?
Please head to Light Tower 6 located between Gates 1 and 2 when you arrive. From here you will easily be able to navigate to the registration area (to collect your bib kits), marshalling area and start line.
If you would like to warm up your body before the stomp ahead, a warm up area with some stationary bikes will be located inside Gate 1. The team from VFA Learning will also be on hand to run you through a quick warm up before you stomp.
Wave time assembly/ Marshalling area
Please enter the marshalling area no earlier than 15 minutes before your wave time
commences. Your bib number will indicate
to us which wave time you should be in and our MC will be on load speaker to call up each wave time to the marshalling area as required. Listen out for these.

Pre-event bib collection will be available at the Ticketing window nearest the
Hugh Trumble Café located between gates 1 and 2 at the MCG on:
- Thursday 2 July: 3:00pm - 7:00pm (TBC)
- Friday 3 July: 10:00am - 2:00pm (TBC)
may also collect on event day from the registration area but be sure to allow
extra time for this. All bib kits and t-shirts must be collected by the
individual participants. Multiple bib collection will only be permitted
with the expressed written consent of the participant(s) who has/have requested
collection of their bib by another individual. This can be done though email, SMS or some other identifying factor which clearly displays the origin of the message to include the participants name. You can speed things up by knowing your bib numbers.

Your best bet is public transport to
the MCG. If catching a train your nearest station is Richmond. Yarra Park (adjacent to the MCG) may be open for car parking depending on weather conditions. You'll be advised of this closer to the day. Alternative car parking can be found by clicking here and viewing the interactive map.
The Pullman Hotel will also be offering self-park parking for the special rate of $15.00 per car. Spaces are subject to availability.

Post event extras
Massage will be available for participants post climb thanks to VFA Learning in the Massage Room (located within the players change rooms at the
Stomp and 2XU have joined forces to bring you the Official Stadium Stomp 2XU
Technical Running Tee. Stock of these tees will be available for purchase
at the event day expo. Look out for the stand.
family and friends are welcome to wander through the event day Expo located
within the MCG (near bag compound area)
event photographs will be taken by Super Sport Images on the course and at the
finish line. These will be available for purchase post event via their
website (www.supersportimages.com). Allow two days post event for these to become available.
The Hugh Trumble cafe near the marshalling area will be open to purchase food and beverages within the MCG. The Pullman Hotel will also be offering a special rate of $25.00 per person will be offered for Full Buffet Breakfast in their Gallery Restaurant.
Our Official Accommodation Partner for Stadium Stomp MCG is Pullman Melbourne on the Park. They will be offering Stadium Stomp participants 20% of thier best flexible rate.
